Forging ahead

So many times I said I’d change
But every time I end up with something strange
I end up in the same old spot
I take time to catch my breath,

So for a while I stop
All these doubts start running through my head
I mostly answer using: may be, may be not
I forget all the promises, all what I’ve said
When I try to make a plan,

I find myself wining instead
But now I know I have to forge ahead
To lead myself and not to be lead!

I'm either alive or either dead
But there's no such thing as living dead

On my own, like a small stone
Deep down the dark blue ocean
Moving, but in really slow motion
Trying to find the right melody…the right tone…

I know it's time to forge ahead...
